Job Description for Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer.

Location – Pune

Mode of work – Hybrid

Experience level - minimum 6 years

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our close-knit

QA Chapter.

As part of our team, you'll be instrumental in shaping the QA strategies for our key

products at Deutsche Telekom. Working alongside diverse teams, you'll bring your

unique expertise in UI and Backend automation to the table, ensuring that our products

are of the highest quality and meet the needs of our customers.

Responsibilities:

Good to have : worked on any tool for Campaign Management. QA Role with Automation (UI) and Campaign management exp.

Conduct comprehensive testing of both UI and Backend systems to ensure product quality and reliability.

Perform end-to-end testing to validate system functionality across all components and interfaces.

Develop and execute test cases and test plans for UI testing, API testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Utilize strong automation skills, including hands-on knowledge of Java and

Python, to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for UI and API

testing.

Conduct performance testing using JMeter to assess system performance and

scalability.

Create test metrics to track testing progress and identify areas for improvement.

Manage defects through the entire defect lifecycle, from identification to resolution, using reporting and bug tracking tools such as Jira / Xray, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with stakeholders.

Prepare and deliver comprehensive test reports to communicate testing results and findings to project stakeholders.

Preferred Experience:

Strong hands-on experience with automation testing frameworks and tools, with proficiency in Java and Python.

Proficiency in user acceptance testing (UAT) methodologies and processes.

Demonstrated expertise in creating test metrics and reporting testing results.

It's a definite plus if you come in with prior experience or a solid understanding of ad platforms and products, along with a knack for navigating campaign management-related tools.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

7-8 years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on end-to-end testing, UI testing, API testing, and performance testing.

Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple

priorities effectively.
