This position is located at our subsidiary in Chennai area.
Your Responsibilities
In this role you'll gather customer needs on-site at the customer's and report those: collect and summarize CT, production capacity, yield, land area, equipment quantity, customer willingness and other information
You'll participate in equipment assembly and debugging, and make design changes according to the problems discovered in the assembly and debugging process
You'll self-manage the work progress and coordinate the work with other departments
Essential Skills
Proficient in Creo/Solidworks/AutoCAD
Your Profile
University degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automation Engineering.
1-3 years work experience in a mechanical design role ideally in an automation company.
Expert in design and Microsoft software, like Creo, Solidworks, AutoCAD, Office (word ppt, etc) with ability to create 2D & 3D drawings and tolerance markings independently.
Understand the use of various transmission structure design methods, such as ball screw, timing belt, gear, bearing, rack, synchronous wheel belt, rack and pinion drive and other common structures and design.
Skilled use of various pneumatic components, motors and various sensors and create BOM.
Have a strong knowledge in GD&T, machining,welding, overmolding, sheet metal fabrication, surface treatment and material properties
Understanding of machining technology and the properties of common materials
Strong hands-on mentality with the ability to work on machine installations, debugging and proposing design changes
Document all design files. Output complete BOM for suppliers
Lead machine assembly, make design change during machine test if necessary
Positive attitude and a strong sense of responsibility
English skills. Chinese is a plus.
