Ensure, manage, and monitor OPEX acc. to budget, define and determine key parameters, ensure planning accuracy.
Ensure optimization of OPEX spending, working closely with Fleet Management Team ship managers worldwide.
Conduct OPEX analysis, benchmarking, and follow-up of expenditures for your fleet
Ensure compliance with reporting guidelines.
Act as the direct contact for internal departments with regards to technical, operational and navigational questions and for OPEX related budgeting and spending.
Continuously improve, develop and optimize FMD reporting procedures (and processes).
Measure and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), collect information to support KPIs further development
Manage and monitor projects, such as drydocks, retrofits, upgrading projects and/or relevant installations. Review and select vessels specifications whether 2nd hand or newbuilding.
Define objectives/goals for projects, monitor work progress, define change requests and actions to improve
Direct communication with project teams for changes and necessary improvements within the organization and to increase groupwide used systems utilization.
Respond to ad-hoc requests (benchmarks, cost analysis, etc.), prepare and present business and organizational data, act as a company representative.
Act as a contact person for different stakeholders, internal departments, and external business partners for your vessels/fleet. Skills
Relevant degree from an accredited University or College
Fundamental experience in vessel operations ideally as a master in ship management (technical, operational, navigational and HSEQ).
Proven project management experience in retrofits and/or new building and including relevant positive results.
Strong analytical skills
Fluency in English written and oral
PC literacy, including advanced knowledge in PAL, MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
