You will be working as Production Engineer and will be part of Electrification business area for Distribution Solutions division based in Nashik, India. In this role you will be reporting to Operations Manager and will be responsible for supporting production process definition to ensure optimization of cost, quality and on-time delivery of products.

Your responsibilities

Participating in the sequence definition, cycle time calculation and analysis of the working phases of new production processes or products

Preparing technical documentation regarding the process phases, related methods and cycle times

Ensuring that updated process and technical documentation are provided to Supply Chain Management (SCM) teams to support supplier evaluations and proper supplier agreements

Implementing and ensuring compliance with the ABB code of conduct, global and local standards, tools, policies and processes in their assigned area

Ensuring adherence to the collaboration objectives of the team to maximize results for ABB

Managing relationships with stakeholders in their own area of responsibility and ensuring alignment

Your background

Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience

Experience in production activities (machinist - high voltage machine)

Knowledge in Shift Planning, Assembly Line, Testing of Vacuum Interrupter or high voltage, Magnetron Testing, Helium Leake testing

Knowledge about SAP, MS Package, Power Bi

Excellent oral and written communication skills
