Roles : Designer to Lead Designer (Rail Structures)

Experience : 3-15 Years

Location Flexibility : Bangalore/Gurugram

Skill set : MicroStation, Open Building Designer & Revit Structures, Rail BIM

Education Details : Dip/B.tech in Civil Engineer

Responsibilities :

Should be able to develop CAD/BIM 3D Models / 2D Drawings to the standards & codes

Should be able to produce medium to complex 3D modelling for bridges & Rail structures

Competent in producing GA and RC detailing drawings for bridges and Rail structures.

Should be able to produce 3D models and extract information directly from model to create 2D drawings, schedules, setting out, quantities and other deliverables.

Should be able to manage/ review models and technical content including clash detection and compliance to BEP.

Should be able to review deliverable including Rail civils, Resignalling civils, Setting out details,

Typical Cross Sections, Standard details etc.

Should be able to follow the OCRA process in EDMS workflow

Should have strong written & verbal communication in English

Experience of working in Common Data Environment (CDE) like ProjectWise

Apply Atkins' Quality, Safety & Environmental (QSE) standards and Business Management System (BMS).. .Mandatory Requirements :

Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum of 3 to 20 years of experience in structures including Bentley / Revit Modelling, RC detailing by using CADS RC and he / she should be having in-depth knowledge in 3D modelling.

Ability to work independently on moderate to complex structural models.

Understanding and working experience of reinforcement detailing.

Sufficient and relevant experience in drafting and RC detailing of bridges.

Ability to understand Level of detailing and experience of modelling up to LoD300

Experience in computer software such as MS-Excel, MS-Word and MS-Outlook.

Good written and verbal English language communication skills

Ability to work effectively with colleagues, seniors, team members and clients.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Ability to independently produce engineering drawings to a high standard.

Ability to estimate appropriately, when necessary, in producing working drawings.Desirable Requirements :

Should be able to co-ordinate with the Information Manager and project teams to assist in the development and implementation of BIM strategies, BIM Execution Plans, workflows and processes on projects in accordance with Atkins Corporate Standards, Client requirements and industry best practice.

Experience of using written and spoken English within a business environment.

Experience in Navigator/Naviswork, OBD, ORD, AecoSIM, Microstation Connect & Revit Modeling.

Knowledge of programming such as MDL, AutoLISP, Generative Components or similar

Working knowledge of British Standards.Additional Information :
