About the Role:

Mass Virtual has an immediate opening for a Sr Systems Administrator to assist and lead in day-to-day IT operations. The successful candidate will be a vital part of the IT support team. They should excel at thriving in a fast-paced environment. The candidate should have advanced knowledge of IT principles such as networking, backups, server maintenance, hardware, and domain infrastructure.

What you’ll be doing:

Solving advanced user issues (tier 3 support)

Build and maintain corporate workstations/laptops/servers

Configuration and Project Management

Analyzing system performance and recommend improvement actions

Lead analysis of server and storage environment and work to create proactive changes in support of KPIs

Work and Mentor others in the team to ensure a tightly integrated and functional team

Create GPO’s and manage Active Directory ensuring a secure environment

Assist the IT Director with researching and implementing new hardware/software solutions

What you need to succeed:

5-10 years of IT experience

In depth knowledge and experience with VMware products

Experience administrating servers in a mixed environment (Windows/Linux)

Eligible to obtain a Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)

Great to have:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology

Mid - Sr level industry certifications (IE. MCSE, CCNA, CISSP)

Experience and certification in cloud technologies (AWS/Azure)

Familiarity with industry security standards (NIST/GDPR)

In-office 100% of the time

The person in this position must be able to stay stationary for long periods of time

Some travel may be required for this role
