Solstice Consulting Group is seeking a Vice President (VP) Central Region Business Unit for an energy services and equipment company based in Houston, Texas. Role requires up to 40% travel.

Fifteen (15) years experience in the energy services sector in the Central Region serving oil & gas upstream clients

Experience managing P&L for a minimum $75M business in the energy services sector required

Strong current client relationships (Central Region), technical oilfield equipment and field operations knowledge and experience required

Knowledge of emissions equipment and related services preferred

Base salary of $190k - $225k DOE plus 40% bonus opportunity and excellent benefits

This role has P&L responsibility for the Region to meet or exceed the annual business plan including approval for all orders for equipment and services revenue for the region. The Central region covers Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma. The position has direct responsibility for operations, region sales and services and indirect oversight over region SG&A personnel and works with manufacturing leadership to manage and improve manufacturing processes and practices.

Responsibilities:

Develop business plans for review and approval that align with overall corporate strategic objectives. Assist in the development of long-range strategic plans for the company as required.

Identify and drive key customer relationships and lead commercial sales / negotiations where applicable for equipment and services.

Work with commercial and operations leaders to support client relationships, including visits to client offices and locations.

Manage regional operations to achieve revenue and income objectives.

Work closely with manufacturing leadership to maximize on time deliveries, profitable projects and customer priorities based on strategic plans.

Provide direction and guidance in the creation, enhancement and implementation of business development goals, activities, and financial targets.

Demonstrate team leadership through effective interactions with Leadership Team, customers, sales managers, additional organizational support staff and corporate departments.

Meet annual HSE incident rate goals as established by Leadership Team by maintaining an exemplary HSE culture.

Ensure compliance with corporate policies, programs, and systems to leverage best practices and drive consistency in operations and measurement of performance.

Regularly communicate field performance, support and quality objectives to stakeholders, BOD and Leadership Team.

Requirements:

Fifteen (15) plus years experience including in a managerial role for an energy services provider with current or recent experience in the Central region (TX/OK/NM).

Experience managing a business unit P&L with a minimum of $75M in annual revenue and 100+ employees.

Strong knowledge of oil field equipment technical operations and post-sale services functions.

Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modelling, leadership technique, production methods and coordination of people and resources.

Have a proven track record of leadership and problem solving with customer focus.

Experience managing operations, supply chain, field services and sales staff.

Ability to define strategy and align work processes/systems, talent, and culture to successfully drive and execute strategic deliverables.

Keen understanding of lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.

Knowledge of financial management and accounting principles as relates to financial statements, budgeting and cost management.

Proven ability to resolve problems independently and take appropriate action in a timely manner.

Proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Strong interpersonal skills including experience presenting to C-Suite leadership and Board of Directors.
