Position Summary:

As a Clinical Manager at NHOMS & MassOMS, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless clinical operation of our practice while providing essential support to the surgical team. This unique dual role demands a candidate with a solid background in both management and clinical settings within oral surgery. We're looking for someone who can not only lead and inspire our team to deliver exceptional patient care but also lend their expertise directly in surgical assistance.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Take charge of the daily operations of the oral surgery practice, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal patient experience.

Assist chairside proficiently during a diverse range of dental surgical procedures.

Prepare, break down, disinfect, and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments to maintain optimal hygiene standards.

Ensure strict compliance with infection control, CDC, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations, guaranteeing a safe and secure environment for both patients and staff.

Provide patients with comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care instructions to enhance their overall experience and recovery.

Maintain accurate and thorough patient charting for effective record-keeping and continuity of care.

Assist the surgical team, demonstrating a hands-on approach to support clinical procedures, and maintain a high standard of patient care.

Lead and motivate a dedicated team of clinical staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. Provide guidance and support to enhance individual and collective performance.

Implement and uphold quality assurance protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, infection control measures, and best practices in oral surgery.

Identify opportunities for professional growth within the team and provide training to enhance skills, knowledge, and performance.

Collaborate with front office staff to address patient concerns, inquiries, and ensure a smooth patient journey from scheduling to post-operative care.

Efficiently manage resources, including equipment, supplies, and staffing, to optimize productivity and cost-effectiveness.

Demonstrate strong leadership and problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions to overcome challenges and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements:

Skills & Abilities:

A strong motivation to learn, coupled with a genuine passion for healthcare and direct patient care.

Previous experience in sedation showcasing a solid foundation in oral surgery is a requirement for this position

Proven experience in managing a medical practice or clinical coordinator role is mandatory.

Familiarity with WinOMS or Open Dental is preferred.

Proficiency in basic computer applications such as email and Microsoft Office is necessary.

The role may require occasional travel, and candidates should be willing to accommodate such needs.

Demonstrated follow-through, effective communication skills, and reliability are indispensable qualities for success in this role.

Experience & Qualifications:

CPR certification to ensure readiness in emergency situations.

Radiology certification, ensuring proficiency in capturing diagnostic images.

Massachusetts Dental Assistant License, meeting state regulatory requirements.

DAANCE certification is preferred, or the ability to achieve it within 6 months of hire, indicating a commitment to professional development in dental anesthesia and sedation.

Minimum of one year of management experience.

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay: $30.00-$38.00 per hour.

Sign-on Bonus up to $1,000.
