POSITION SUMMARY

The Deburr Technician is responsible for the final inspection of machined parts. The Deburr Technician works with the quality team to ensure that ISO standards are met. The Deburr Technician plays a strong role of teamwork among the Final Inspection Team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Performs daily deburring activities using a variety of hand tools and machinery

May be required to perform basic inspection requirements to verify dimensional and visual compliance to customer drawings

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and workmanship standards

Maintains neat and orderly work area

Complies with safety regulations in all aspects of performing job responsibilities

Gives close attention to detail

Completes all production and quality logs daily

Any other duties assigned by Final Inspection Supervisor

Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

Basic knowledge of hand tools

Experience with hand gages ( micrometers, calibers, thread gages, etc)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Attentive to detail; organized.

Ability to work independently

Ability to take initiative, to maintain confidentiality, to meet deadlines, and to work in a team environment

Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and related software.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position operates on the manufacturing floor. Employee will be responsible for looking at all angles of parts in the machine and on pallets. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must lift up to fifty (50) lbs. occasionally.

Hourly M-F –230p-11p

Overtime as needed (during the work week, M-F)
