Payroll Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team in Norwood, Massachusetts. This role involves processing payroll for multiple subsidiaries, handling state tax compliance management, and potentially assisting with Accounts Payable responsibilities. This position offers a contract employment opportunity that will require working on-site on Tuesdays and remotely on other days.

Responsibilities:

• Process payroll for multiple subsidiaries accurately and effectively.

• Manage state tax compliance as the company continues to grow and acquire new companies.

• Assist with Accounts Payable responsibilities as needed.

• Work within various accounting software systems simultaneously.

• Multitask between multi-step processes.

• Utilize skills in accounting software systems, Ceridian, IBM AS/400, Kronos Timekeeping System, and 401k - RRSP Administration.

• Apply knowledge of Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) in daily tasks.• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with Ceridian and IBM AS/400

• Knowledge of Kronos Timekeeping System

• Ability to manage 401k - RRSP Administration

• Experience with About Time software

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)
