Dog Care Specialist - Kennel Technician

Job Description

Dog boarding and dog daycare facility is looking to hire a full time position in our kennel department.

Responsibilities Include:

Overseeing the health and wellness of our dog guests.

Preparing and delivering meals and administering medication.

Documentation and record keeping for each pet guest.

Thorough cleaning and sanitizing of all pet areas.

Applicants must have a natural comfort around dogs and the ability to safely handle a variety of sizes, breeds, and temperaments.

Availability to work on weekends and holidays.

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and walk/stand for extended periods of time.

Ability to read and write written instructions and labels.
