Job Description: ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for the remainder of the school year (willrenew for the following school year) in Columbus, OH. This is a unique opportunity to provide speech and language services to students in a virtual setting while collaborating with a dynamic team of educators and therapists.

Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech and language needs.

Develop and implement individualized speech therapy plans and goals.

Provide speech therapy sessions to students, addressing articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to support students' speech and language development.

Monitor and document student progress through data collection and analysis.

Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to IEP goal development.

Provide guidance and support to paraprofessionals and other team members.

Stay current with best practices and research in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

Bachelorsdegree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.

Ohio state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant.

ASHA certification

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a remote/virtual environment.

Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations in special education.
