About the role:

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about driving strategic growth through the power of data-driven marketing. You will be someone who thrives on analysing metrics, uncovering insights, and leveraging them to fuel impactful marketing strategies. As our Digital Marketing Manager you will be a subject matter expert in our organisation, leading our end-to-end marketing function. The role will range from hands-on work building paid ads and SEO campaigns, to managing our external resources and stepping into strategy discussions when needed.

In this role you will work closely with our Chief Growth Officer to mentor and manage the marketing team. This role will soon grow in scope and align with our growth plans - this is a unique opportunity for someone at a particular career stage. You will have the opportunity to build a high-performing marketing team and shape our marketing efforts through meticulous analysis, innovative experimentation, and a relentless commitment to optimising performance.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Hands-on data-driven digital marketing with the primary objective of bringing new clients to our SaaS and RaaS business.

Creating and leading our digital marketing strategy from start to finish, working with our marketing team and getting stuck in to roll it out.

Working with and managing a team of experts in paid ads across all platforms and SEO and organic strategies to deliver on our crucial growth objectives including Google, Meta and LinkedIn.

Implementing a high-quality tracking and attribution model with 360 data-driven insights.

Harnessing the power of our Hubspot CRM, formulating sophisticated strategies, and meticulously executing them to attract new clients and manage current clients' end-to-end life cycles.

All stages of the growth marketing funnel: customer and user acquisition, activation, retention, and upsell.

In addition, you may also:

Work cross-functionally with engineers, product, UX, data analytics, product management, operations, fulfilment and marketing to design and execute growth initiatives and generate leads for the sales team.

Work with third-party tools (or build custom tracking) to create insightful data dashboards.

Support the marketing team in executing optimised brand campaigns utilising customer experience data.

Define and analyse metrics that inform the success of products.

Manage stakeholders across various channel groups, responsible for delivering critical milestones on time, budgets & project execution.

Drive multiple projects from strategy to execution in a fast-paced environment in an organised way.

Communicate and simplify concepts to the audience’s needs.

Understand the competitive landscape of products to inform the product growth strategy and design.

Project manage and drive change across the board where you see opportunity, and leverage existing resources to do this quickly.

We think you will need:

5+ years experience in a similar growth marketing role, ideally in a high-growth or startup environment.

Strategy formulation and critical thinking skills.

E-commerce industry experience - understanding e-commerce and pain points first-hand is a significant differentiator in setting up marketing that speaks to the right audience.

Experience managing a marketing team with comprehensive expertise in digital marketing, paid ads, SEO, CRM, e-commerce, branding and social (especially external contractor resources).

Expertise in data analysis, data mining and presenting data in a concise, easily-understood manner.

Exceptional stakeholder management skills.

Proven ability to prioritise and make decisions.

High levels of drive and motivation, and the ability to get stuff done.
