PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The TPM Coordinator / Resource will report directly to the Plant Leader and enable the deployment of the Plant TPM Methodology at the Site. This role supports the organization’s TPM Strategy as the way we will run our operations in the pursuit of zero loss.
Working closely with the Regional TPM Leader, Plant NLT, and the Plant Team Members, the employee will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the Site TPM Masterplan, training/teaching the TPM methodology, coaching teams to drive loss elimination through the implementation of the TPM pillars and assessing the progress.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Promote Safety & Wellness Excellence
Maintain focus on safety in all TPM initiatives
Use TPM methodologies to continue the journey to zero incidents
Adhere to and continuously improve all safety policies, procedures and standards
Support and participate in wellness and community initiatives
Inspires and enables the plant leadership team to successfully drive to zero losses through the deployment of a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) operating system
Demonstrate strategic leadership by working with the Plant NLT to develop a TPM masterplan for the site that is linked to overall plant objectives of loss elimination.
Engage and inspire teams at all levels and across functions to achieve results through TPM Pillars.
Build support and shared accountability for successful deployment of TPM
Partner with internal and external consultants to effectively support and implement TPM
Member of the Plant NLT and TPM coach
Supports the plant in the TPM execution
Serve as mentor/coach to develop excellence in the use of TPM methodologies
Build TPM capability in the Site through the Learn Do Teach model
Develop and deliver training as needed to build TPM knowledge, awareness, and capability across the plant
Anticipate and eliminate barriers to success
Identify, track, and communicate the metrics that measure TPM progress
Provide recognition for successes around sustained TPM systems and TPM capabilities built
Leads the weekly TPM drumbeat in the Plant, Coaches the daily TPM drumbeat in the plant
Will attend the TPM leader training in 2024 to advance skills
This role is a steppingstone to a larger Plant TPM leader role and is a feeder role in the overall TPM leader resourcing strategy in Owens Corning
JOB REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior experience with TPM deployment and leadership of AM, PM, FI and T&D Pillars internal or external to Owens Corning
Demonstrated ability to improve business results by working through others
Demonstrated ability to lead change to deliver results
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
2+ years of TPM/Lean experience
Proven track record of successful TPM implementation in a plant environment
Functional leadership in a complex environment
Major programs deployment:
Pillar Leader / Pillar member experience in AM, PM, FI
Led an AM Team through AM Step 3
Led a Daily Management Huddle
Project Leader, Project Manager
Participated in a successful TPM Pilot execution
