At Radiology Imaging Associates, we pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence, patient care, and employee well-being. We are currently seeking an experienced Retirement and Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional healthcare.

As our Retirement and Payroll Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining the retirement and payroll functions for the organization. You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate administration of our retirement benefits, timely processing of payroll and compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Retirement Benefits Administration:

Conducts retirement and benefits-related calculations and analysis including repurchase of service, withdrawal of contributions, and deferred retirement.

Develops and maintains records of participants and beneficiaries including active, deferred, retired, and separated members.

Serves as a liaison between participants and the plan administrator.

Coordinates with actuaries, plan administrators, accountants, and other professionals to provide verified and compiled data for administration of benefits.

Ensures retirement plans are administered in accordance with company, state, and federal guidelines and regulations.

Maintains knowledge of legal and regulatory changes, trends, and other developments affecting retirement benefits.

Payroll Processing:

Enters, maintains, and/or processes information in the payroll system; information may include employees’ hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, address changes, and other information.

Ensures proper processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, charitable contributions, and other deductions.

What you will need to be successful:

At least three years of experience in payroll and retirement benefits administration.

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, human resources, or a related field is a plus, but we are open to equivalent work experience that demonstrates expertise in the field.

Knowledge and prior experience with ADP/Workforce Now is required.

Knowledge of federal and state payroll tax regulations, including multi-state.

Working knowledge of retirement plan compliance.
