Job Summary:

Past Times Arcade is looking for a General Manager for our arcade in Girard, OH. The General Manager is responsible for sales, profits, staffing, inventory, image, customer satisfaction, and operation of the entire arcade. You will lead the arcade to ensure the achievement of business goals. The General Manager will provide overall leadership, direction and supervision to an assistant manager, ticket attendants, concession employees, and work closely with a team of game repair technicians. The GM should also have a pulse on the gaming and hospitality industry and be able to offer strategic initiatives on how to grow the business.

Flexible Work Schedule:

The General Manager must be adaptable to work during our core operating hours from Thursday to Sunday. Although the arcade is open four days a week, the role requires flexibility to work on days, nights, and weekends. The schedule may also vary to include additional days for hosting events, private functions, and other operational needs.

Essential Functions

Analyze financial reports and develop action plans to grow revenue and control expenses to meet company goals.

Responsible for all aspects of the arcades operation to fulfill financial goals and company initiatives.

Oversee POS system management and training team members on accurate procedures.

Oversee accurate cash handling procedures and complete necessary paperwork.

Oversee product management, management of suppliers, inventory management and stock control.

Manage cleanliness of the overall space address issues in a timely and effective manner.

Maintain expert knowledge of our vast entertainment offerings including pinball machines and arcade machines.

Assist with creating, preparing, and submitting reports to executive management such as: Daily Sales, Monthly Sales, COGS, Petty Cash, Labor reports, etc.

Assist with writing the operations manual to include day-to-day procedures.

Assist with preparing and presenting performance evaluations and counseling notices to direct reports.

Know and understand all store employees job responsibilities.

Proactively support any promotional activity within the store and contribute to an effective working environment.

Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by executive management.

Monitor, evaluate and coach team member performance and guest service skills.

Assisting with providing operational and customer service training for store employees at all levels.To be considered for a career with us, you will need:

Responsible for handling $10K+ days of volume.

Assist in optimizing profit and controlling costs with the use of P&L statements.

Must be able to hire, train, retain and develop your team.

Ability to operate a computer and other productive office equipment.

Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.

Must be able to communicate professionally and effectively.

Ability to walk up to 5 miles a shift.

Work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions.Education Requirements

Bachelors degree preferred.
