Job Description
The human resource coordinator aids with and facilitates the human resource processes at all business locations. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry.
Essential Functions
Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
Liaise with other departments or functions (operations, payroll, etc)
Assist with coordinating training sessions and seminars
Produce and submit reports on genral HR activity
Assist with New Hire Orientation. Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files. Submits online investigation requests and assists with new-employee background checks and drug tests
Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.
Assists with recruitment and interview process. Schedule interviews as requested. Tracks status of candidates in HRIS and responds with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process.
Assists with processing of terminations.
Exit Interviews
Manages and trackes employee changes notices
Help supervisors and managers manage corrective actions
Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
Files documents into appropriate employee files.
Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
Prepares new-employee files and scans in Teams/ADP
Assists with developing power points presentations, flyers, and tracking data in excel
Processes mail.
Support other functions as assigned
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
Associates degree in HR or related field
Strong experience with MS Office (Excel, PPT, Word)
Ability to handle data with confidentiality
Good organizational and time management skills
Other experience preferred
ADP WFN experience preferred
Spanish language preferred
Experience with Teams preferred
Strong communication, critical thinking and evaluation, ethical practice, and basic HR experience
