Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a qualified electrical engineering candidate to join the growing Midwest region's electrical discipline group.

Candidate will serve as a lead electrical engineer and provide electrical engineering/design on projects for water and wastewater facilities.

Qualified candidate should have knowledge in industrial power design, including medium and low voltage electrical power distribution, motor control, VFDs, lighting systems, equipment layout and related activities. Including a working knowledge of the NEC and related Codes.

Candidate must have good communication skills, including interaction with clients and contractors.

AutoCAD experience is a must, Revit BIM software and SKM power systems software is desirable.

Experience with instrumentation and control systems is a plus (but not required).

4+ years of experience in electrical engineering and design and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering is required.

An active Professional Engineering License or the ability to obtain within six months.
