Inventory Analyst

Job Description

We are on the search for a detail-oriented Inventory Analyst to join our team in the manufacturing industry located in Lansing, Michigan. This role focuses on creating and maintaining inventory records, expediting the delivery of goods, and handling supplier relationships. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Create, allocate, and process work orders as required

• Develop and manage inventory documents and process inventory transactions as instructed

• Expedite the delivery of goods in-house, and to the manufacturing floor as needed

• Place and follow up on orders with suppliers via email, calling, and web ordering as directed by the Procurement Staff

• Contact suppliers to obtain order confirmations, certificate receipts, tracking of materials, and filing of claims on damaged receipts or those with discrepancies

• Create and maintain excel sheets for Department metric tracking

• Confirm receipt of orders and compliance with requested delivery dates with suppliers

• Maintain Supplier Quality Requirements under the guidance of Buyers

• Undertake any special projects as assigned by management

• Utilize skills in Customer Demand Planning, SAP, Microsoft Excel, Raw Materials, Purchase Orders, Manage Vendor Relationships, Daily Production, and Microsoft Power BI.• Proficient in Customer Demand Planning

• Experience with SAP software

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Knowledge of Raw Materials management in manufacturing

• Familiarity with processing Purchase Orders

• Ability to Manage Vendor Relationships effectively

• Experience with Daily Production scheduling and management

• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI for data analysis and reporting
