Wise Mind Psychological Services is a private group practice which provides a warm, friendly and professional environment in our beautiful offices in Rockville Centre and Garden City. Virtual services are also available.

We are seeking licensed psychotherapists (Ph.D., Psy.D., LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LMSW and LP's) who work with children, adolescents and their families to join our team. After school and evening hours are required. Our practice focuses on a CBT and DBT approach. DBT experience preferred but not necessary, however an interest in DBT training is a plus.

Our practice operates on an employee fee for service model. Insurance billing and referrals are provided. Weekly peer supervision meetings allow for an exchange of ideas, experiences and resources among clinicians. Ideal candidates are looking to be part of a team that is vested in providing the best care for patients through evidence based practices, while maintaining the highest professional standards.

It is our belief that enthusiasm for learning and growth is an essential part of being a competent clinician. We are looking for candidates who exhibit this enthusiasm and are inspired by people's capacity to heal as part of the therapeutic process.

Qualifications and Skills:

Must be punctual in reporting to work.

Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in counseling or social work; and an active, unrestricted license (PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMSW,LMFT, LMHC, LCAT) in the State of New York or a Limited Permit in the State of New York.. A copy must be provided to WISE MIND PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES, P.L.L.C..

Be organized and detail oriented.

Be a team player.

Be able to work independently on tasks assigned.

Have strong written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.

Prior experience in a private practice setting highly preferred.

Preferred at least three years’ experience post-unrestricted licensure.

Have at least one niche market for counseling services (i.e., children, teens, trauma, anxiety, grief, anger management, etc.).
