Job Description

The Clark Agency of Symmetry Financial is looking for an administrative assistant to join our team. This person will work to support the daily operations of the agency.

The ideal candidate is a high-energy individual with excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal communications.

Responsibilities:

Summarize and keep updated a document tracking 2 year policy anniversaries (for CONVERSIONS).

Send weekly reminders to agents of their progress toward the following

Promotions

Slingshot

Seasoned New Agent

Summarize and Post Weekly to Groupme recognition slides for:

1st application written

Agents passing state exam

Leaderboards

Most dials

Seasoned New Agent, Promotions, Slingshot

Daily check on status of pending applications

Summarize and track actions to get policies approved . Understand what is needed and how information is to be communicated back to the insurance carrier (phone if must, email, fax etc...)

Call clients to confirm appointments.

Update database regularly to make sure we have current customer information readily available.

Send virtual cards celebrating or acknowledging agent or customer events including but not limited to:

Agent birthdays

Agent 30 day, 90 day, annual anniversaries with Symmetry

Client birthdays

Client annual policy anniversaries

Client Debt Free Life debt pay dates

Post in GroupMe the Group events and planned meetings and additioanl information a directed

Adapt to the team needs and assist with other projects as needed

Insurance Office Assistant qualifications

High school diploma or GED required, Associate’s Degree in business administration or related field preferred

2+ years work experience in administrative support, customer service, or insurance industry is preferred

Proven track record of strong organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and communication skills, both written and verbal

Proficient data entry skills

Strong computer skills, including the ability to use spreadsheet and standard word-processing programs

Insurance Office Assistant compensation

$15.60 / hour (1hr/day with increasing hours depending on workload and demonstrated proficiency)
