This position will cover Eastern Iowa

POSITION INFORMATION

To establish and drive First Aid Service Business and to upgrade existing business. To increase account revenue through sales as well as service First Aid components for existing customers.

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Increase account revenue by selling additional products and services, successfully complete sales programs, develop and implement strategies to identify new business opportunities. Maintain open communication at all times with Route Supervisor to keep lines of communication open and for troubleshooting.

Identify and resolve customer concerns, ensure customer satisfaction with company products and services, develop positive personal relationships with principal customer contacts, maintain enthusiasm and professional attitude. Maximize customer contract term.

Manage route to maximize efficiency, productivity and revenue; operate company equipment safely and responsibly, comply with applicable rules and regulations relating to safety and operation of commercial motor vehicles. Maintain clean driving record to insure eligibility for coverage with insurance carrier. Periodically review safety procedures and Company Vehicle Manual to insure compliance at all times.

Increase account revenue – rate increases, sample product; flyers, brochures.

Identify new business opportunities – sales leads, copy of competitor’s invoicing; logo mat artwork.

Ensure customer satisfaction;

Maximize customer contract term;

Maximize account profitability;

Manage route efficiency and safety;

Positive communication with customers, potential customers and co-workers.

Have a thorough knowledge of CITY’s products and services and how they are used.

Product management: loose load sheets, inventories, quality

Load truck: organization, invoices, paperwork, bags.

Account appearance: organization of supplies

Vehicle maintenance: timely communication of repairs, preventative maintenance, cleanliness, accidents.

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on a frequent basis.

Maintain hygienically clean standards of garments by proper handling

Ability to drive a motor vehicle for at least 10 hours on a daily basis.

This position requires regular and reliable attendance.

Service and maintain first aid accounts- restocking, testing AED devices, etc.

Utilize B Mobile software program.

Provide prompt, effective solutions to customer needs.

Represent the company in a positive manner and dress and act professionally at all times.

Must maintain a neat, professional appearance and keep company vehicle clean and organized.

Positive communication with customers, potential customers and co-workers.

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on an occasional basis for account installs.

This position requires regular and reliable attendance.

QUALIFICATIONS

● Clean driving record and valid Iowa drivers license required.

● A Bachelor of Arts degree preferred.

● 2+ years of business to business sales experience.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such

as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Th

largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing

Physical Job Functions:

● Use standard office equipment

● Ability to stand, bend, stoop as necessary

● Occasionally lift office supplies and products up to 30 pounds

● Requires physical ability to file-open drawers/close drawers,

move files and boxes of product

● Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus to read small

print, numbers, etc.

● While performing duties employee will be regularly required to talk and hear

Critical Physical Demands:

● Sitting: Frequently in vehicle driving to appointments and at desk to type and complete paperwork.

● Walking: Occasionally to execute routine office functions such as moving between office equipment and filing

locations and to execute face to face communications with employees

●Bending: Frequently for filing, copying, and general office functions.

●Trunk Rotation: Occasionally for filing, copying, and general office duties.

● Squatting/Crouching: Occasionally, to pick up, sort, retrieve and place first aid supplies in the proper area.

● Grasping/Pinching/Wrist Turning: Frequently, to handle paperwork, filing duties, and moving boxes of product

● Finger Manipulation: Occasionally to handle paperwork, filing duties, and moving boxes of product

● Lifting/Carrying: Occasionally, up to 30 pounds to load or install materials and cabinets and take items to and from

Locations. Be able to install a 10 pound first aid cabinet on a wall holding it while attaching it to the

wall with power tools.

● Use of Feet: Frequently, to operate brake and gas pedals on vehicles and walking throughout the day
