National Sales Manager

We are a dynamic, industry-leading manufacturing company headquartered in Huntington Beach, CA dedicated to providing top-quality products and services to our customers for the past 40 years. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with excellent organizational and analytical skills to join our Sales & Marketing department. The ideal candidate will be an ambitious and tech-savvy individual with the canny ability to manage a variety of administrative sales tasks simultaneously and with ease. Previous experience in the Wellness & Beauty industry is a MUST! Preferred candidates will have experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Strategizing and implementing a sales plan to help cultivate and grow new and existing product sales in the Personal Care / Small Electrics / Beauty & Bath Industries.
Attend Trade Shows relevant to market categories to drive current and new business.
Provide Monthly and Quarterly sales projections along with SKU specific projections to operations for production and shipping planning.
Conduct market research and retail analysis for long term product development/timeline planning for specific retailers and general territory directives.
Schedule, plan & manage various buyer meetings, store visits, and account management.
Plan and execute new product launches, campaigns, and initiatives; Prepare materials, presentations, and proposals.
Maintain continual contact and nurture professional relationships with important customers and vendors.
Quick and efficient follow up and response that ties into exceptional time management and organizational skills.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree from accredited University
2-3+ years of work experience in Sales management of mass retail accounts, preferably in the manufacturing industry
Exceptional organizational, written, verbal, problem-solving, and time management skills are a MUST!
Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail, and independently manage workflow/ responsibilities while working in a team setting

Strong working knowledge of SAGE Database Software (ERP/CRM); MS Excel, Word, and Outlook software; EDI/Merchants; CommerceHub; SPS Commerce; PowerPoint, Google Drive, and various other programs related to the manufacturing industry; ability to adapt to program or software updates and changes
Background working with TJ Maxx, Walmart, Sam’s Club, Target, and similar large retailers. Previous national account involvement must solidify an ability to analyze performance metrics and convert learnings into increased distribution and new market opportunities.

This is a full-time, on-site position. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 7:30am-4pm.
