Staff Accountant

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Accountant for a direct hire position located near the Irvine Spectrum. Position will be hybrid after training.

Pay $85,000 to $95,000

Responsibilities for the Accountant:

Will be responsible for the monthly close process and preparing the monthly journal entries

Responsible for account reconciliations

Responsible for the sales/use tax filings

Support income tax research

Prepare the income statements, balance sheets and other financial reporting

Assist with the annual operating budget, forecasting and variance analysis

Support the financial reviews and audits

Assist with process improvementsRequirements for the Accountant:

BA/BS in Accounting or Finance

4+ years of full cycle GL accounting experience

Strong knowledge and experience with sales/use taxes

Strong reconciliations experience

Strong Excel skills and SAP experience

Solid written and verbal communication skills

Strong analytical skills
