The position is in Phoenix, AZ, and is a great opportunity for someone with the following skillset. Compensation will be based on experience. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Possess broad experience and in-depth knowledge of truck/trailer maintenance, including pneumatic trailers, preventive maintenance, shop operations, and documentation.

Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues and proven history of making successful repairs.

The ability to make good decisions under pressure, prioritize tasks, and have strong technical knowledge is necessary for success in this job.

Accept change, adapt quickly and effectively to new situations, and professionally cope with changing job demands.

Pass a DOT pre-employment drug test.

This position performs various duties on tractors and pneumatic trailers, including completing Preventative Maintenance repairs and annual inspections. Typical work involves electrical and lighting repairs, brake work, satellite communication/tracking system repairs, external engine components, AC blower motors, trailer doors and seals, some bodywork, and chassis/suspension work. This is an ideal position for an experienced diesel mechanic.
