Opportunity Stanislaus is helped Quality Service, Inc. is based in Escalon recruit a Field Service Technician! The Field Service Technician provides professional water and wastewater treatment services to the greater San Joaquin County, Stanislaus County, and surrounding regions. The full-time position includes a 4/10 schedule, medical benefits, paid holidays, and paid vacation. We are looking to grow our company in assisting local water treatment systems that need certified operators and maintenance technicians.

Job Description:

Quality Service, Inc. is seeking an individual to fill the position of Field Service Technician for general construction and service work in the water system field, who can adequately follow direction, handle varying tasks, and produce quality work. This employee will need to possess a wide range of knowledge and skills to perform in a fast-paced environment in the maintenance, construction, service, water, and wastewater field. This position requires a team player who is a dedicated, long term, career minded, organized, multitasking individual with a strong work ethic and self- discipline to enable them to work by themselves and/ or supervise other staff members in the field during all-weather conditions.

Field Service Technician Duties Include but Are Not Limited to the Following:

Work with other staff members, foremen, supervisors, other construction crews or staff and clients in a professional manor, communicate and represent company in a professional manner.

Maintain accurate and detailed records

Coordinate with scheduler to meet due dates and deadlines

Read plans, project specifications and aid in material research.

Coordinate ordering of materials

Ability to troubleshoot or provide repairs to electric, plumbing or pump and motor systems

Ability to work around heavy equipment in a safe manor

Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted

Ability to drive for multiple hours or long distances in a workday

Communicate problems or concerns with supervisor, management, or administrative staff.

Ability to provide and maintain a safe work site for all staff members

Respond to after-hour emergencies as needed.

Work with water, wastewater, treatment, or sewer collection systems

Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of QSI and staff

Maintain work orders, job notes and timecards

Education, Experience and Desirable Requirements Licenses or Certificates:

A High School Diploma or GED

Prefer Two (2) to (3) years of experience in maintenance, service, or construction field.

Valid California driver’s license; a good driving record for at least three (3) years duration
