Audio Engineer

Job Description

Wxterhouse Studio is seeking Audio Engineers for on call positions. We are looking for professional and experienced candidates that are capable of running studio sessions for various genres of music. Qualified candidates with experience will be considered first. Candidates must be able to commute to and from the studio. Our facility is located in Fells Point Baltimore MD.

Our pay rate are as follows:

$20/hour for Studio B Engineers

$30/hour for Studio A Engineers

All applicants must perform an on site interview in which they will record an artist of the studio's choice. This is not a paid interview and is solely used for the management to access your skill as an engineer and your ability to engage with the artist. Upon the interview process you will be notified within 24 hours of a decision for a position at the studio.

Requirements:

Engineers are required to:

- be proficient in a professional DAW workspace

- have a clean and professional appearance

- be able to communicate with clients and direct the session

- 1 year experience required

- knowledge of industry standard recording techniques, plug ins, analog gear, microphones, signal flow, trouble shooting, computer skills, organizational skills, and leadership skills.

- be on time and maintain communication

- be able to mix and master to radio/steaming quality levels

- be able to work quickly and skillfully. Knowledge of shortcuts and workflow for maximizing studio time and results.

- be able to and willing to help promote the studio and bring in clients
