The Global Business Manager (GBM) is responsible for decision making in the assigned business
area as part of a Business Leadership Team. The GBM provides strategic direction and focus,
bottom-up guidance on commercial plans and tactical coordination of rfqs and pricing activity.
Responsibilities
For the assigned business areas:
a) Provide clear strategic direction.
b) Product line design and management
c) Manage the tactical activities with customers including rfq response coordination and
pricing management
d) Development of understanding of future technology approaches and commercial
strategies for OEMs and key customers.
e) Contribute to the strategic oversight of the Richful lubricant additives business.
f) Proactively advocate Richful, its technology, products and capabilities at key forums and
industry meetings.
g) Assessment of H2 market spaces. These are applications areas adjacent to the current
area of responsibility that are currently not being served by Richful.
Qualifications
a) A strategic understanding of the lubricants and additives industry and how it functions.
b) Commercial acumen; the ability to manage P&L for a given business
c) Collaboration – you will be part of a team that will need to make decisions in the best
interests of Richful. That requires consideration for other business areas and the
customer base via the Sales team
d) Leadership skills – ability to influence and motivate the team and organization internally
and continuously improve its reputation externally.
