Position Overview

The ideal candidate will have at least three years’ experience as a Patent Agent prosecuting patents in the immunology and molecular biology therapeutic space. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Immunology or Virology. The successful candidate will have experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications, responding to office actions, assisting in the preparation of opinions and conducting prior art searches in the fields of immunotherapy, gene therapy, cell therapy and related fields. Candidates should possess strong academic credentials and be admitted to practice before the USPTO

Qualifications:

Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Immunology, Virology, or a related field.

Registered Patent Agent with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

Minimum of 3 years of experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the fields of immunology or virology.

Strong knowledge of patent law and regulations, particularly as they relate to immunology and virology.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and effectively.

Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a virtual environment.
