Back End Developer

My client is a top leader in the Fintech Space! They are looking for a Sr. Backend Engineer to join their team that is the cornerstone of the organization!

What you’ll be doing

Collaborate cross functionally and build the technical vision.

Engineer customer-facing features and projects using their tech stack.

Collaborate with teams across engineering to enhance processes and systems.

Provide mentorship to more junior developers.

This person will play a vital role in driving the product development efforts, leveraging your technical experience and leadership skills to deliver solutions and foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Who we’re looking for

Possesses a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in developing production-ready software, demonstrating a proven track record of delivering reliable and scalable solutions.

Exhibits expertise in steering back-end and full stack technical projects, adept at prioritizing tasks, defining requirements, and facilitating productive discussions within the team to drive informed technical decisions.

Brings to the table a collaborative mindset, having effectively led engineering teams in collective pursuits, fostering an environment of cooperation and shared success.

Demonstrates a remarkable ability to adapt swiftly to the evolving needs of our growing organization and dynamic product landscape, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

Strong command of backend technologies, specifically JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, relational databases (ideally PostgreSQL).

Experience developing well-documented RESTful APIs.

Experience in React & HTML / CSS will be welcomed.
