This is an exciting opportunity to join a high growth privately held family-owned for over 65+ years construction organization that is expanding its finance team and implementing a new ERP system. Reporting to the CFO, the Senior Finance Manager will oversee FP&A, financial operations, drive financial performance and support the achievement of business objectives. This is a hands-on role and will be intimately involved in the day-to-day operations of the finance department.

Responsibilities:

Conduct enterprise-wide financial planning and analysis.

Provide financial strategy and decision support.

Assist in developing and implementing business processes and policies within the Finance organization.

Ensure integrity of all revenues and compliance with laws and regulations.

Perform financial modeling, analysis, forecasting, and ad-hoc projects.

Oversee analysis of capital assets projects and working capital management.

Collaborate with executive staff to control essential financial business operations.

Lead preparation and delivery of accurate financial and operational management reporting.

Implement key performance indicators and strategic objectives.

Develop and implement policies and best practices to achieve objectives.

Create business plans for new products, services, and markets.

Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and best practices.

Facilitate implementation of new financial systems and modifications.

Support CFO on strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects.

Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or similar.

MBA preferred.

FP&A experience and leadership experience required.

Experience in building out finance function in an organization.

Advanced data modeling skills.

Union labor experience preferred.

Construction or equipment industry experience preferred.

Previous Finance experience at corporate level or with revenues of $300M+ preferred.

Proficiency in managing Enterprise Applications and software implementations for Finance required.

Proficiency in system integrations and methodologies.

Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to optimize work of others.

Strong business acumen and judgment.

Experience supporting senior management in a hands-on role.

Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports and projections.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proven track record in business transformations.

Knowledge of financial and legal best practices.
