Subscription Planning Associate

OVERVIEW
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Planning the selection of wines for subscription shipments while understanding factors such as customer preferences, seasonality, variety, and stock availability
Coordinating the organization and administration of a portfolio of more than 50 wine clubs
Regularly reviewing sales forecasts and ensure alignment within the planning system on a weekly to monthly basis
Monitoring inventory levels and making proactive adjustments to account for fluctuations in demand or supply chain disruptions
Problem solving to find suitable substitutions if planned wines are unavailable
Providing clear and timely updates for upcoming wine cases or changes to product offerings with our internal Marketing, Creative, and Operations Teams
Executing quality control measures related to wine offerings and overall subscription experience, taking corrective actions as necessary
Assisting in the implementation of new initiatives relating to wine clubs
Tracking wine club performance metrics, analyzing trends, and identifying opportunities for optimization and enhancement within wine subscriptions
Flexibility to assist with additional responsibilities as needed within the Wine Team
EDUCATION
High School Diploma
Wine knowledge not necessary, but a plus
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite primarily Excel
Keen attention to detail, strong numerical and analytical skills
Flexible approach and ability to manage concurrent tasks
Enjoys working collaboratively in a small team
Willing to undertake industry recognized WSET certification
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods
Proficiency in using standard office equipment, including computers, keyboards, and telephones
Comfortable with prolonged periods of concentration and mental focus
