Inspector II – C Shift

Location: Huntsville, Alabama

Compensation: $36.63/HR

Schedule: 5AM - 5:30PM, Friday to Sunday (C Shift).

Overview:

We are currently seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Inspectors to join our team on a six-month contract basis. This role is crucial for maintaining the highest standards of quality assurance in our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

Perform detailed inspections of structural, electrical, and mechanical assemblies and systems using CAD models and blueprints.

Verify assemblies for conformance with engineering requirements.

Document non-conformances in accordance with internal procedures and actively communicate to resolve quality issues.

Utilize precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.

Ensure compliance with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) requirements and FOD (Foreign Object Debris) awareness.

Perform damage characterizations, close-outs, first article, in-process, and final inspections, documenting all findings per industry standards (AS9102).

Must be capable of working at elevated heights and performing final photo documentation of hardware.

Qualifications:

3-5 years of relevant experience in quality inspection or a related field.

Proficient knowledge of ESD compliance, torque specifications, and FOD prevention.

Ability to use precision measurement tools and understand technical documentation.

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
