Role Description:

This is a full-time role as a Litigation Personal Injury Paralegal within our Bridgeport Office. The perfect candidate will have a great deal of experience in trials and trial preparation. The applicant must be a self-starter, drive, and organized. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. Knowledge of Needles/Filevine is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Handle all facets of litigation

Effective calendaring

E-filing on the judicial website

Routinely communicates with clients concerning their cases

Assist attorneys in the discovery phase of litigation (setting up depositions, identifying experts, drafting motions, expert disclosures, etc.)

Ensure data entry is accurate

Identifying potential liens and navigating the Medicare portal

Review and analyze medical records and bills

Skills:

Minimum of 3 years of prior personal injury litigation experience is required

Detailed Oriented

Microsoft Word and Excel proficient

Computer literacy

Proficiency in typing

Outstanding customer service

Excellent organizational skills

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
