Summary

Our client is a well established Long Island based company with nearly 30 years of local operation in diverse markets including Residential, Medical, Retail/Commercial, and Self Storage. Thanks to their proven success and continued growth plans, they are looking for a senior Estimator to help grow the team while being a key asset in bringing on new projects.

Responsibilities

Identify new project leads through various resources

Create and maintain project bid lists

Create formal project proposals

Maintain bid and project spreadsheets throughout

Assist project managers and other stakeholders with qualifying subcontractor proposals

Complete bid checklist while working with PMs and owners

Sit in on subcontractor and project status meetings to provide expertise

Qualifications

5+ years of Construction Estimating experience

Familiarity with Estimating software like Onscreen Takeoff

Strong communication skills

Familiarity with subcontractor qualifying process
