Genius Talent has teamed up with a leading advanced engineering firm to find an Embedded Hardware Engineer . In this role, you'll collaborate with a diverse, innovative team to design state-of-the-art computer hardware optimized for space. You'll lead cutting-edge research and development in computer engineering, focusing on creative solutions for complex challenges. Expertise in computer architecture and emerging technologies is essential. As an Embedded Hardware Engineer, you'll drive innovation and push the limits of computer design in space exploration.

Responsibilities:

Lead research endeavors aimed at crafting computer-based solutions to tackle intricate challenges across various domains such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, and data analytics.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to delineate project requirements, set technical specifications, and deliver top-notch solutions that meet or surpass customer expectations.

Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and researchers, nurturing a culture of innovation, teamwork, and ongoing learning.

Conduct comprehensive evaluations and testing of computer prototypes and solutions, scrutinizing performance metrics, pinpointing areas for enhancement, and refining designs as needed.

Stay updated on the latest developments in computer engineering research, technology trends, and industry progressions, leveraging this knowledge to drive innovation and bolster project outcomes.

Contribute to technical proposals, grant applications, and publications to secure funding and disseminate research findings within the scientific community at large

Qualification:

Master’s or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with a focus on relevant research areas.

Minimum 8 years of experience in computer engineering, or related field, with a proven track record of leading research and development projects.

Experience designing computer hardware for extreme environments and/or space applications.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to formulate and implement innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.

Demonstrated expertise in computer hardware development.

Experience with aircraft and space systems.

Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, cryptography, and secure software development practices.

Familiarity with networking and distributed systems architecture.

Additional certifications or specialized training in areas such as machine learning, cybersecurity, or cloud computing are preferred.
