Materials Science Manager

Responsibilities

Work closely with the electrolyte R&D manager, production manager, and process/equipment engineering managers to execute corporate goals and objectives

Lead a group of scientists and engineers, monitoring their day-to-day performance and guiding their professional development.

Provide technical oversight for projects, fostering technological development within the team to achieve project and department milestones

Interface with the Cell Technologies team to evaluate ASSB cell performance of electrolytes and enhance product quality.

Conduct tasks for electrolyte performance improvement and report out data and lessons learned.

Qualifications

MS or Ph.D. degree in chemistry, material science, chemical engineering, or a related discipline

At-least 5 years of industry experience in the product development & management environment

Familiarity with techniques such as XRD, TGA, DSC, FT-IR, and Raman

Handling gloveboxes and working with air-sensitive materials is a plus.

Familiarity with LiB (Lithium-ion Battery) and ASSB (All-Solid-State Batteries) materials.
