Cyber Security Engineer

Responsibilities:

Lead the configuration and management of Microsoft Defender and Intune to ensure endpoint security across the organization.

Conduct regular assessments of endpoint security setups to maintain compliance with industry standards.

Investigate and resolve incidents related to endpoint security, including malware outbreaks.

Collaborate with teams to integrate endpoint security controls into overall security architecture.

Provide guidance to junior team members and IT staff on endpoint security procedures.

Stay updated on emerging security threats and propose enhancements to endpoint security.

Monitor intelligence feeds for email-related threats and respond to compromised emails promptly.

Support secure email protocols and configurations, including DMARC, DKIM, SPF, DLP, and SPAM Filtering.

Experience:

Over 3 years of cybersecurity experience.

Experience in complex environments designing cybersecurity solutions.

Previous involvement in managing key information security systems such as Microsoft Defender EDR, Netskope, Proofpoint, Tenable, Trend Micro, and Intune.

Experience with vulnerability scanning and system hardening.

Strong understanding of endpoint security concepts and technologies.

Hands-on experience with antivirus, endpoint firewall, encryption, and endpoint detection and response solutions.

Skills:

Develop and execute endpoint security strategies utilizing Microsoft Defender, InTune, and relevant solutions.

Lead implementation and configuration of endpoint security solutions.

Serve as a subject matter expert on endpoint security technologies.

Collaborate with incident response teams to investigate and mitigate security incidents.

Stay updated on emerging threats and incorporate threat intelligence into security strategies.

Conduct security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and propose remediation actions.

Communicate technical concepts effectively with various stakeholders.

Demonstrate strong problem-solving, multitasking, organizational, and communication skills to deliver high-quality results within deadlines.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred technical certifications in Security or vendor-specific certifications like Microsoft Defender and Intune.
