Software Engineer-Tech Lead

About This Opportunity:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Software Engineer Lead to help design, develop, and implement solutions for Order Fulfilment within our Retail Supply Chain capabilities. The individual in this role will work closely with the Value Chain business and several cross functional departments for designing new or improving existing systems. The developer will work closely with Product Management, Solution Architects, other Tech Leads and Scrum teams to implement innovative features and measure their impact. Must be comfortable working in a distributed team, in a fast-paced environment and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. This individual must have a collaborative attitude and love working with others to find elegant solutions to complex problems, always keeping the end user in mind.

Basic Qualifications:

8+ years of experience building complex applications using microservices and event driven architecture. 2-5 years of Experience with Oracle EBS / Oracle Order Management System.

2-3+ years of experience coding robust and secure Rest APIs in Java, NodeJS, React native scripting languages

2-3+ years of experience working with Oracle Database designing schemas and writing optimized queries.

Experience with automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing

Experience with continuous integration / continuous deployment using templates.

Experience with Azure infrastructure (API Gateway, AKS, Service Bus, Kafka) or any other cloud technologies is required.

Prior experience with Manhattan WMS will be a plus point.

Prior experience with Demand forecasting (BY) will be a plus point.

Should be a self-starter who is excited to relentlessly solve many technical challenges.

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Should manage own time and work well both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant field.

Knowledge to create standards-compliant, cross-browser, mobile compatible front-end code with responsive design.

Experience with Azure infrastructure (API Gateway, AKS, Service Bus, Kafka) or any other cloud technologies is a huge plus.

Knowledge of high-quality professional software engineering practices for agile software development cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and deployment.

Experience in partnering with product and program management teams.

Ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into technical design and code.

Mentoring the team members to meet the stakeholder's needs and holding them accountable for high standards of delivery.

Experience in working on Supply Chain Order Fulfilment Technology Solutions in Retail Industry is a plus.

Knowledge of server-side and front-end performance optimization

Familiarity with project management tools like JIRA.
