Litigation Paralegal

A reputable California-based law firm with over 80 attorneys is seeking a Paralegal for their Irvine office. Supporting the trial department with all phases of discovery, filings, trials and appeals, this position will gain hands-on experience with litigation from beginning to end.

Job Duties:

Assist litigation and trial attorneys with research, preparation of documents, and all phases of litigation including trials and appeals.

Prepare subpoenas (in-state, out-of-state, and out-of-country).

Utilize e-discovery platforms including CS Disco to conduct discovery searches.

Prepare basic motions.

Prepare for trials and appeals (state and federal).

Qualifications:

Minimum of 4 years of California and Federal litigation experience, preferably in defense litigation.

Excellent oral and written communications skills

Proficiency with Office 365, Adobe Acrobat, CS Disco, Everlaw, Lexis, Westlaw, and iManage.

Paralegal Certification from an ABA approved program and a Bachelor’s degree.

This is a hybrid position that will allow 1-2 remote days after the initial onboarding period. The compensation range for this position is $95,000-$115,000.
