Mid-level contract to hire Litigation Associate Attorney

On-site/hybrid remote in Bethesda

Hybrid remote: 4 days in office, flex for more remote after integrated to firm

10 attorney law firm with main office in Bethesda, MD

Fast-paced and growing sophisticated commercial business litigation practice including complex litigation, bankruptcy and white collar crime.

Seeking MD, NY or DC barred (waive in if hired) mid-level litigator

Contract to Hire for the right candidate

Prepare for/ take depositions, write briefs, deep involvement in cases, draft discovery responses, draft pleadings, conduct legal research, write memos, prepare for trials/hearings, work with clients.

Qualifications:

4-5 years litigation experience including skills noted above, former AmLaw100 or AmLaw50 associates preferred

A quick learner who can jump right in with very little training

A highly motivated individual is the best fit for this role

Must have excellent, proven legal research and writing experience

Direct hire salary depends on experience, market salary for mid level Associate, plus generous bonus

Parking reimbursed (not near metro)
