We are looking for an experienced media agency leader to join our high caliber digital team. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years’ experience working with large budgets across the digital landscape. They will bring with them client diplomacy, strong presentation and communication skills and a proven track record for managing and growing a team.

The right person will have incredible attention to detail with a depth of hands on experience working in ad tech, search, social media, and digital partnerships with large publishers. We are looking for someone who has strong managerial experience and a deep understanding of digital structure in a media agency. They will be responsible for the quality of work output from the digital team, along with digital thought leadership and new business responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Building relationships and maintaining contact with key client leaders across accounts

Develops and merchandises thought leadership at client and industry events

Coaches, mentors, builds, and improves a team of digital experts including search, social, programmatic and digital partnerships

Includes a leadership role in the hiring process, employee performance reviews and digital training

Must actively provide direct feedback (positive and negative) to team members to improve the quality of work they provide their clients and client teams

Regularly consults with internal client teams to improve their knowledge and digital confidence

Is very active in new business presentations, creating and presenting compelling content while learning how to tell the Empower story

Author and editor of case studies and agency POVs

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree+

15+ years digital media, specifically search, social, programmatic or digital partnerships

Strong understanding of planning tools (e.g. comScore, MRI, flowchart tools, web analytics)

Current or past familiarity with ad servers (DCM, FlashTalking, etc.)

Current or past familiarity with other ad tech (DSPs, DMPs)
