Killer Merch is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our finance team. The Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting financial planning and analysis efforts, providing insights into business performance, and contributing to strategic decision-making processes. Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):

Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models, forecasts, and budgets.

Analyze financial data and trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations to key stakeholders.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business drivers and support decision-making processes.

Prepare and present financial reports and variance analyses to management.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess business performance and identify areas for improvement.

Generate regular reports and dashboards to communicate financial results and performance trends.

Conduct ad hoc analysis to address specific business questions and challenges.

Financial Operations Support:

Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.

Support the finance team in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and systems.

Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the finance function.

Strategic Projects and Initiatives:

Participate in strategic planning initiatives and special projects as needed.

Provide financial analysis and support for business initiatives, investments, and strategic partnerships.

Evaluate the financial impact of proposed business decisions and scenarios.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

2+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or related roles, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.

Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial planning and analysis tools (e.g., Tableau) preferred.

Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
