Job Summary
The Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) will be a key player in collaborating with various teams to drive strategic financial decisions within the organization. If you have strong analytical skills, excel in deriving valuable insights, and enjoy detailed financial analysis and strategic planning, this role is perfect for you. Communication with the board to shape the finance narrative for presentations will also be a crucial aspect of this position.
Who You Are
Must be able to work in-person at our Downtown Los Angeles office
3-5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, internal strategy, or a similar analytical role
Experience in finance or strategy at a high-scale tech company preferred; B2B SaaS experience is highly desirable
Proficiency in building and managing complex financial models, analyzing large datasets, and using Excel/Sheets and Slides; familiarity with Google Workspace applications
Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to communicate insights effectively to non-Finance audiences
Enthusiasm for working in a fast-growing startup environment with a collaborative and adaptable mindset
Self-motivated with excellent multitasking and prioritization skills, able to work accurately under pressure
Deep understanding of finance principles and basic knowledge of accounting principles; SQL experience is a plus
What You’ll Do
Work closely with the company's financial model and executive team on pricing, product strategies, revenue growth, and margin expansion initiatives
Drive insights that influence key strategic decisions within the organization
Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting, providing recommendations to relevant departments
Lead the KPI reporting process for leadership communications and data-insight meetings, striving for precision and impact
Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support decision-making for various teams, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Support
Collaborate with the executive team to set department-specific goals, monitor performance, and ensure alignment with objectives
Support the FP&A reporting process, including accurate calculation of commission payments for Sales and HR Service team members
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the Finance function
Assist in fundraising processes and contribute to investor relations activities as required
