Qualifications

Comprehension of engineering principles, codes, and standards in civil design, including site layout, grading, erosion control, storm sewer, water, sanitary sewer, roadway, and fueling design.

Possesses basic technical writing skills needed for civil reports and letters.

Ability to work within your own team as well as other internal teams and clients.

The estimated starting base salary for this role is $64,000-$78,000.

Your Day to Day:

Draft plans using AutoCAD and Civil3D software.

Adjust and correlate data, recognize discrepancies in results, and follow operations through a detailed processes.

Assist in the preparation of improvement plans, specifications, supporting documents, and permit applications for subdivisions, commercial developments, multifamily developments, and public works projects.

Participate in the preparation of calculations, such as storm drain, wastewater, water system, earthwork quantities, transportation, cost estimates, and other supporting documentation for public and private projects.

Takes an active role in new business development by performing quality production work to build strong relationships with existing clients.

Requirements

Education

Bachelor of Engineering from a four-year, board-approved engineering curriculum.

Experience

Typically, 0-3 years of experience.

Possesses Engineering Intern certification or can take the Fundamentals of Engineering exam within six months of hire.
