ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for Azure infrastructure enterprise level projects in designing and deploying cloud environments for hosting business application services.

Working closely with application, network, and security teams to ensure requirements are reflected appropriately in the Azure design.

Working closely with firm’s operational resources in updating their on-premises practices to include cloud.

Develop PoC as and when required.

Provide expertise and leadership regarding solutions for infrastructure and applications in Microsoft Azure.

Demonstrate thought leadership in cloud computing across multiple streams.

Develops technical roadmaps for future Azure cloud implementations.

Ensures security is integrated into all cloud architecture solutions.

Provide technical direction and lead a group of one or more architects addressing a common goal.

Enforce adherence to architectural standards and principles, globally followed product specific guidelines, usability design standards, etc.

Ability to analyze and operate at various levels of abstraction.

Ensure suitable sizing of solutions, technology fit, and DR are assessed and accounted for.

Keep abreast of emerging technology/industry trends in the cloud and define new patterns and standards as required.

Drive, Plan and Develop blueprints and deliverables that helps firm in advancing our Azure Cloud capabilities, involving both new solutions and migration of existing solutions.

Collaborate and guide other team members to design and develop end-to-end processes aligning with the defined architecture.

Regularly improve processes ensuring that high-quality information is delivered, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the AZURE architecture.

QUALIFICATIONS:

An experienced Cloud architect to design, develop, and implement cloud-based solutions for our firm. You will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of cloud projects, ensuring that the architecture meets the business requirements and follows the best security practices. You will also collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality cloud services.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field

At least 5 years of experience in cloud architecture, design, and development.

Strong knowledge and skills in Azure cloud platform.

Proficient in cloud services, such as compute, storage, network, security, and database.

Experience in cloud migration, integration, and deployment.

Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

Certification in cloud computing is a plus. Ability to work independently but comply with direction as needed.

Strong writing and oral communication skills, effective listening, presentation, and facilitation skills

Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the firm.

Highly motivated self-starter requiring minimal supervision.

Able to multi-task and handle unstructured environment.

Demonstrated attention to detail, strong analytical skills and good business judgment.

Ability to deal effectively with change in a fast-paced environment.

Must be well organized, work independently, comprehend business requirements, and proactively identify systems and reporting capabilities to address those requirements.

Must be result-oriented, dependable, adhere to established time commitments and demonstrate strong customer service attributes and the ability to deliver results.
