Above Green is looking for a seasoned testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB) professional. This person will be embedded within our total building commissioning team (cybersecurity, mechanical, electrical, and envelope) and lead our team in expanding our offerings for private, municipal, and federal new construction projects.
Experience Requirements
TABB Certified or NEBB TAB Certified Technician
Must be willing to travel nationally up to 30% of the time
Must be able to climb ladders/stairs and carry objects (50 lbs. occasionally, 20 lbs)
Responsibilities
• Support commissioning and design work by reviewing project specifications and drawings to help create a firm design allowing for commissioning to clearly be integrated
• Create functional performance test procedures for all types of facility HVAC and electrical systems: building automation, HVAC, heating, hot water, lighting, steam, renewable energy systems, associated controls
• Manage field inspections, overseeing equipment startups and test and balance (TAB)
• Manage field functional performance testing to verify and tune systems for optimum performance
• Troubleshoot faulty systems, perform the technical analysis necessary to interpret system data, and provide recommendations for corrective action
• Assess, document, and write engineering reports of site observations, testing processes and checklists
• Prepare clear and concise deliverables, including technical reports, Cx reports, system manuals, and assessments, that convey technical information suitable for both lay and technical audiences

Certified Building Commissioning Professional (CPCP), or equivalent
