Director of Public Relations

LHH is seeking a Director of Public Relations to join a top company in Charlotte, NC. This ideal candidate will be a leader and a thought partner ready to bring a fresh perspective to the PR and Brand teams. The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of professional PR experience and will have had experience working in an agency setting. This role offers a great company culture and competitive benefits! Residency in North Carolina is required.

Responsibilities:

Setting objectives for the PR team and monitoring team members’ performance

Maximizing brand presence on various channels (e.g. web, TV and social media)

Cultivating and maintaining relationships with media and influential professionals

Qualifications:

10 + years of proven PR experience in an agency setting

Solid experience coordinating successful PR campaigns

Expertise in different social networks, including Facebook and Twitter

Excellent communication and presentation skills with confidence to serve as the company’s spokesperson

Creative abilities

Team management skills

Ability to foster long-term relationships with key professionals

Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or relevant field

Candidate needs to either reside in Charlotte, NC or near by.
