Our legal client is seeking an Learning and Development & Onboarding Specialist to join their Chicago team on a contract basis. This candidate will support various learning programs & new hire initiatives. Candidates must be highly analytical and data-driven, with experience measuring training effectiveness.
Pay: $27-30/hr
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM (37.5 hour work week)
Location: Downtown Chicago
Contract length: 3-6 months
Must Have
Bachelor's degree
Experience with learning analytics and data analysis to measure training effectiveness.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
Proficient in Articulate 360 suite; Captivate and/or Camtasia; Vyond; Adobe Photoshop; HTML/Javascript a plus; xAPI and SCORM standard knowledge
Experience with survey development/Assessment development
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Assist in the design and development of innovative, engaging, and effective materials to support new employee onboarding, and learning programs, including pre-hire activities, new hire orientation, instructor-led training, e-learning modules, virtual classrooms, and workshops
Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements across the organization.
Partner with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, and external vendors to ensure the delivery of high-quality learning solutions that adhere to the needs of the organization and strategy.
Design and develop a comprehensive onboarding and integration process deck that helps stakeholders understand the core activities and workflows that make up firm's new onboarding process.
Develop custom eLearning solutions after identifying learning objectives, problem statements, and other analyses.
Deploy content in the Learning Management System; organize learning paths and learning path strategies; deploy eLearning.
Develop and update training resources, including facilitator guides, participant workbooks, job aids, multimedia presentations, and online learning resources and learning programs.
Facilitate training sessions and workshops, both in-person and virtually.
Make recommendations on future improvements to content management, workflow processes, and user experience.
Ensure all deliverables are completed in a timely fashion and according to the pro
