FESCO Packaging Design: Senior Packaging Designer

For the past six decades, The FESCO Group has become is a top international manufacturer of consumer electronics with over 3,000 products and 15 leading brands... including Car & Driver, Perry Ellis, RCA, Epilady and Coby Audio.

As a Senior Packaging Designer, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our experienced team of designers and Creative Director to create visually stunning and functional packaging for our products that are displayed and sold on the shelves of the biggest national retail chains in the country. You will be responsible for all phases of primary and secondary package design from concepting, comps to completion, execution of strong conceptual and innovative design - which are all aligned with the brand’s graphic standards.

You must submit a portfolio to be considered for this role ("Creativity" in packaging design is a key determinant within our selection process).

Our successful candidate will also possess:

• Deep experience in Packaging Design (4+ years)

• Excellent skills in ideation, concept visualization, form development, CAD, hands-on model making, and rapid prototyping

• Ability to produce complex die-lines and structures for packaging

• Strong skills with production of physical packaging

• Capability to research and develop visual trends for the packaging needs

Our structural packaging designer:

• Works well in a high-volume and fast-paced environment

• Creates and manipulates complex die-lines

• Builds and maintains comprehensive, organized, and accurate production files

• Maintains a comprehensive knowledge of the competition and trends.

• Is a proven team player with ability of multitasking and possesses a collaborative mindset

minimum position requirements:

Must have 4 or more years of experience in packaging design (including consumer electronics and Hard Goods)

Must have excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills

Keyshot, Solidworks, Blender, Figma a plus

Preferred experience with Branding / developing product storylines and 3D modelling software

• Highly motivated and self-starter

• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

• Strong detail oriented, time management and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Must Think outside the box on what type of packaging materials can be used and how to bring a cohesive look and feel to product lines.
